29th Removal of an Individual "Wanted by the CBSA"
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/23/13 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the removal of Edgar Tsovikian, who was featured on the "Wanted by the CBSA" . Tsovikian was removed from Canada on April 16th.
Tsovikian, the 29th removal from the "Wanted by the CBSA" list, was arrested by CBSA Inland Enforcement officers with the assistance of the Calgary Police Service and the Alberta Integrated Fugitive Apprehension Unit on March 21st. He was inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality, for being convicted of break and enter, possession of stolen property, mischief, fraudulent use of a credit card, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 40 individuals in Canada, of which 29 have been removed. Additionally, six individuals were located abroad.
Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
