About the Lawsuit
UniTek and certain of its executives are charged with issuing materially false and misleading statements concerning the Company's operations and financial performance, during the Class Period, in violation of federal securities laws.
On April 12, 2013, UniTek announced that it will restate its financial results for the interim periods ended March 31, 2012, June 30, 2012 and September 29, 2012, the fiscal year ended December 31, 2011, and the interim period ended October 1, 2011. The Company also disclosed that, as a result of an ongoing internal investigation "it was determined that several employees of the Company's Pinnacle Wireless subsidiary engaged in fraudulent activities that resulted in improper revenue recognition." UniTek further announced that the several employees were terminated, including the Company's CFO.
