These brand ambassadors are part of ding free® day, a nationwide campaign to highlight how Canadians can avoid getting "dinged" by their financial institutions and see the benefit of being a member of a credit union.
As part of the ding free ATM network, credit union members have access to thousands of surcharge -free ATMs across Canada - saving them hundreds of toonies each year.
And to demonstrate how active they are their communities, Canada's credit unions are also donating $2 - up to $25,000 in total - on behalf of every member who downloads the ding free® ATM locator app (), to their choice of one of three Canadian charities: the , the or the .
