Prolitec Names Hanson Director of Marketing
(firmenpresse) - MILWAUKEE, WI -- (Marketwired) -- 04/22/13 -- Prolitec Inc., a leading developer of air treatment, scenting and air care technologies under the Air/Q Atmospheres brand, today announced the appointment of veteran marketing communications executive Barbara Hanson as Director of Marketing.
In her new position, Hanson, who is based in the company's Seattle office, will be responsible for managing the marketing department, defining marketing strategies and building the Air/Q Atmospheres brand in commercial and residential markets. She reports to CEO Richard Weening.
Hanson comes to Prolitec following more than seven years in senior marketing positions at Fluke Corporation of Everett, Wash., a leading manufacturer and distributor of electronic test tools. Most recently, she served as Global Group Senior Marketing Communications Department Manager, a diversified position that included brand management for all product lines and direction of staff, agencies and vendors executing the company's advertising and other marketing communications programs. Hanson was also employed at Fluke from 1991 to 2000, rising from Media Services Manager to Senior Marketing Communications Manager.
From 2002 to 2006, she was president of Hanson Communications, Inc., a marketing communications firm providing strategic counsel, campaign management and tactical support for a variety of consumer product and business-to-business companies. Prior to that, she was an account supervisor at global public relations firm Weber Shandwick, representing such clients as Microsoft and Agilent Technologies. Hanson began her career in 1989 with TFB/BBDO as a Media Director.
A resident of Seattle, Hanson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Washington.
