Las Vegas Eye Surgery Practices Consolidate for Enhanced Patient Care
New Eyes and Eye Care Associates of Nevada Recently Announced Their Plan to Join Forces in Order to Enhance the Level of Eye Care in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 04/22/13 -- In response to the continually changing healthcare environment across the United States, Dr. Helga F. Pizio and her practice, New Eyes, have announced a strategic consolidation with Eye Care Associates of Nevada. Beginning June 1st, 2013, Drs. Paul Hiss, Doug Devries, and Todd Hartman -- formerly of Eye Care Associates of Nevada in Las Vegas and Henderson -- will join forces with the New Eyes practice. Regarding the collective skill and expertise the new doctors will contribute, Dr. Pizio says:

As a product of the consolidation, by early Fall of this year New Eyes will relocate their Las Vegas office at Rancho Drive to the former Eye Care Associates of Nevada office at Rose Street. Situated next to Alta-Rose Surgery Center, Dr. Pizio states this new, convenient location is more spacious and will allow her and her associates to treat more patients with a comprehensive variety of procedures ranging from and LASIK, to glaucoma treatments and . Additionally, she notes that Alta-Rose Surgery Center, with the Alcon LenSx® Laser and WaveTec ORA System®, is "the most technologically advanced eye surgery center in Las Vegas." She says its proximity to their office will enable New Eyes doctors to optimize surgical care and achieve the most effective vision results for patients.
Ultimately, Dr. Pizio says she and her colleagues are excited for the opportunity to join two esteemed eye surgery practices together in order to better service the eye care community of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada: "We look forward to this exciting practice change that will enhance our ability to better serve our patients and meet the challenges of the changing world of medicine in a unified manner."
After earning her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma. She specializes in cataract surgery and currently serves as an adjunct professor for Southern California College of Optometry, as well as an active professor at the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine. Dr. Pizio is also certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
