(PresseBox) - 04.2013 - EFI(TM) provides office workgroups with advanced colour management, productivity tools and built-in printing solutions for mobile devices with its new Fiery® Network Controller for Xerox® WorkCentre(TM) 7830/7835/7845/7855 Multifunction Printers.
Based on the award-winning Fiery platform, this digital front end (DFE) delivers ready-to-use documents faster than ever before with high-quality print output. The Fiery DFE excels at producing colour-critical office documents that contain logos, graphics, custom colours and photographs. It also supports Xerox WorkCentre finishing devices, allowing the production of professional-looking office documents, such as manuals, sales proposals, and booklets. In addition, powerful standard and optional Fiery applications enable workflow automation to streamline the printing of more complex jobs.

Intuitive operation and flexible printing capabilities
Producing more complex documents in-house has never been easier with Fiery VUE, a visual print application that gives users the ability to import and edit content from multiple sources. Using Fiery VUE, businesses can reduce their printing footprint by consolidating information and producing more customised documents with fewer pages.
An optional Fiery Options Bundle delivers a powerful combination of software applications - Fiery Spot-On(TM) , Auto Trapping, Fiery Hot Folders and Fiery Virtual Printers - that deliver colour optimisation and workflow automation for increased print quality and efficiency. With the bundle, office workgroups can produce consistent and accurate corporate colours while automating tedious printing set-up processes to make users more productive than ever before.
Integration with leading-edge tools
The new Fiery DFE for the Xerox 7800 WorkCentre Series offers seamless integration to Xerox's top, high-value office solutions and tools, such as Xerox Remote Services. It also provides the single IP connection that makes it easy to integrate with ConnectKey(TM) office solutions such as Equitrac Office, Equitrac Professional and Nuance ScanFlowStore that are built on the Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP).
Cost accounting integration is another built-in feature on the server that allows cost data from supported 3rd party solutions to be embedded in the print job information to ensure jobs are attributed to the appropriate cost centres. In addition, it provides simple integration with Xerox Standard Accounting software and third-party systems for accurate job tracking and easy access to data.
The Fiery DFE enables users to print from iPad(TM) , iPhone® and iPod touch® applications wirelessly to their Xerox WorkCentre MFP, increasing the flexibility and productivity of office workers.
