New Products Corporation Receives Award From Berrien County Manufacturers Council
(firmenpresse) - BENTON HARBOR, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 04/17/13 -- New Products Corporation (NPC), a manufacturer of precision die cast aluminum and zinc products, recently received an Appreciation Award from the Berrien Council Manufacturers Council for the company's investment and contribution to business growth in southwest Michigan.
Cheryl Miller, NPC's president and CEO, accepted the award presented by Joe Sobieralski, executive director of the Southwestern Alliance. The Manufacturers Council is part of the Southwestern Michigan Economic Growth Alliance, .
"We are very honored to be recognized among our peers in Berrien County," said Miller. "The Southwestern Alliance was very instrumental in helping New Products apply for and receive our company's first-ever property tax abatement that enabled us to purchase new equipment and hire 18 employees, more than double the number we originally projected."
NPC was one of 11 Berrien County manufacturers to receive Appreciation Awards from the Council.
