CML HealthCare Inc. Appoints Chief Medical Officer

(TSX: CLC) (the "Company" or "CML"), a leading community-based provider of laboratory and medical imaging services in Ontario and British Columbia, today announced the appointment of Dr. Timothy Feltis as Chief Medical Officer, effective June 4, 2013.
"Dr. Timothy Feltis brings a wealth of expertise in pathology to CML and will play a pivotal role as we advance our strategy of adding new, private-pay, emerging tests and services in our laboratory business. His decades of clinical leadership will provide CML with critical support as we review innovative, growth opportunities in medical diagnostic testing," said Thomas Wellner, President and Chief Executive Officer. "I am pleased to welcome Dr. Feltis to our management team. He will be a great complement to our Microbiology Medical Specialist, Dr. Philip Stuart who has been with CML for more than 20 years."
Dr. Feltis is a board-certified pathologist with more than 30 years of hospital experience. He is a published author of numerous research papers on pathology in recognized medical journals. Prior to joining CML, Dr. Feltis served as Chief of Lab Medicine and Director of Laboratories at Credit Valley Hospital, as well as the coroner's pathologist for the City of Mississauga. He has also had much experience in the community lab setting as a consultant since 1985. Dr. Feltis holds a medical degree from Queen's University and completed a fellowship in Renal Pathology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
