BioNitrogen Corporation Begins Collection of Woody Biomass for Hardee County Plant
(firmenpresse) - DORAL, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 04/10/13 -- (PINKSHEETS: BION), a cleantech company that utilizes proprietary technology to build environmentally-friendly plants that convert biomass into urea fertilizer, announced today that it has begun collection of woody biomass from phosphate mining and non-mining lands to use for urea fertilizer production. The collected biomass, which would have otherwise been burned or buried, will supply . The excess biomass, in the interim pre-construction period, may also be processed and sold as wood chips to the international marketplace in order to generate revenues.
In 2013 expects to receive at least 30,000 tons of biomass from mining and other sources every two months at the Hardee County plant site.
"It's important that we demonstrate our ability to manage the logistics and processing of large quantities of biomass in this pre-construction phase.
