UNIGIRL Canada creates the World's First Waterproof Bikini Calendar
Calendar printed on rare high-tech polymer used in the making of new Canadian currency
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/10/13 -- Bikinis are meant to get wet, so why shouldn't bikini calendars? That's the thought behind launching the world's first completely waterproof calendar featuring Canada's most attractive and intelligent female post-secondary students.
"Being the first to come out with completely waterproof calendars is incredible and going to revolutionize the $2 billion print calendar industry," says company founder and president Sanford Siddall, "We thought if Sony can make a waterproof smartphone, we can make the waterproof calendar that can withstand all sorts of wear and tear."
The waterproof and tear-proof calendars are printed on a rare polymer paper similar to that used in the making of new Canadian currency banknotes that keeps $100 bills safe while they go through the wash in a pair of jeans. The calendars are designed with university and college students in mind and have undergone rigorous scientific testing () against everything from Red Bull to a Subway meatball sub.
