President of Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America Invited Back as Panelist at Mountain Travel Symposium 2013

"Connecting Travelers and Suppliers: Disruption or Status Quo?" will be held on Wed., April 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Westin Snowmass Conference Center in Snowmass, Colo.
Milne, who has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and resort property management, will be joined by industry peers from Vail Resorts and Destination Hotels & Resorts to present the supplier point of view on this important industry topic.
"The lodging supplier has to strike a delicate balance now between using resources for direct bookings and intermediaries as the intermediaries are increasingly becoming a critical element of our business," said Milne. "The trick is to stay ahead of consumer habits and trends, while maximizing the most cost effective distribution channels. Presented during General Session III, "Connecting Travelers and Suppliers: Disruption or Status Quo?" will also feature commentary from intermediary companies including Escapes North America at LivingSocial, Interhome, Ski.com and Liftopia. The founder of PhoCusWright is expected to speak separately about "the need for companies to constantly evaluate their sales, marketing and distribution strategies."
The 38th annual conference runs this year from April 7 - 13, 2013 in Snowmass, Colo. With over 1,000 participants expected to attend, MTS is the single largest and longest-running annual gathering of mountain travel professionals in North America, according to its website.
