Media Advisory: Governor General to Participate in a Discussion on Leadership and Higher Learning in Toronto
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/03/13 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will attend and deliver closing remarks at a luncheon discussion on Leadership and Higher Education, hosted by the Canadian Club of Toronto, on Friday, April 5, 2013, at 12:45 p.m., in the Ballroom of the InterContinental Hotel (225 Front Street West.)
During this luncheon, His Excellency will discuss the importance of higher education and what Canadian universities need to do in order to thrive and succeed in today's society. Moderated by Mr. Robert Prichard, President Emeritus of the University of Toronto, the discussion will also feature Mr. David Naylor, President of the University of Toronto, and Professor Heather Munroe-Blum, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of McGill University.
