Their Excellencies to Host Governor-General of Australia at Rideau Hall During Visit to Canada
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/03/13 -- Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will host at Rideau Hall Their Excellencies Ms. Quentin Bryce, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Mr. Michael Bryce, during their stay in Ottawa, from April 4 to 6, 2013.
"This will be the first time an Australian governor general has visited the National Capital Region," said His Excellency. "Having met Their Excellencies on several previous occasions, Sharon and I look forward to welcoming them to our country. This visit will be a great opportunity to celebrate the values and aspirations that unite us as member nations of the Commonwealth."
Starting with a stop in Vancouver, British Columbia, on April 2, the Governor-General of Australia and Mr. Bryce will then stay in Ottawa from April 4 to 6, and will conclude their visit in Iqaluit, Nunavut, from April 6 to 7.
The following event will take place at Rideau Hall:
