Intergraph(R) CAU2013 Express Events in Johannesburg and Dubai Draw 150 Plant Designers and Engineers for Sessions on CADWorx(R), CAESAR II(R), and PV Elite(R)
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 03/28/13 -- The Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis University (CAU) Express events during March in Johannesburg, South Africa and Dubai, UAE drew 150 plant designers and engineers for educational sessions on CADWorx, CAESAR II, and PV Elite. CADWorx 3D topics included spec building; plant models, P&IDs, and isometric drawings; and point clouds for producing as-built models. The CADWorx 2D track included P&IDs for downstream and information sharing with instrumentation and electrical and instrumentation deliverables. CAESAR II pipe analysis and design topics covered spring supports, interface customization, and buried pipe. PV Elite vessel design topics include API 579 Fitness for Service, vessel openings, and effects of creep in design.
CAU2013 Express is a series of one-day plant-focused learning experiences designed to help designers, engineers, and other stakeholders improve their knowledge and skills and enhance their organizations' productivity. Upcoming CAU2013 Express events will be in Yokohama, Japan on April 23; Beijing, China on April 25-26; Seoul, South Korea on April 30; and Singapore on May 2, 2013.
