A grand total of 652,800 readers now read 24 Heures every week, which is an increase of 15,800 readers compared with last year. Since 2008, 24 Heures has seen its readership soar by 44%(1).
Readership profile
The free urban daily 24 Heures has significantly increased its readership in key and highly sought-after market segments. For instance, 237,200 24 Heures readers are college graduates, an increase of 24% since last year. An increasing number of executives and professionals read 24 Heures every week (99,600 readers; a 23% rise). 24 Heures attracts 139,200 readers in the 25-34 age category (+7%), and women make up almost half of the readership (315,400 readers), a 6% increase since 2011(2).
Every week, the 6 editions of the free urban daily 24 Heures published in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal attract over 2,568,200 readers, which represents 20% penetration across Canada(3).
