Lincoln Property Company Announces Its New Business Intelligence Tool, propertyBI
(firmenpresse) - DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 03/28/13 -- recently announced the addition of a custom Business Intelligence (BI) software tool to its suite of technology platforms. Lincoln's new tool, propertyBI, will provide real-time property performance summaries and help to analyze essential business data.
Business Intelligence is the fusion of advanced technology and business acumen resulting in a system that intuitively provides business metrics or key performance indicators (KPIs) in the form of dashboards, charts, and graphs.
"Game changer" is the term used by Scott Wilder, Executive Vice President - Residential Management for Lincoln Property Company, when describing propertyBI. "We've been waiting for a BI product that we could customize to fit our company profile. Our tool, propertyBI, will allow us to make more timely and profitable decisions for the management company and for our clients," says Mr. Wilder.
After extensive regional and corporate level training, propertyBI officially launched to the Lincoln team on March 1st. This tool allows Lincoln users to filter information with the click of a button to see Key Performance Indicators (KPI) like occupancy, trending percentage, rent trends, unit type analysis, effective rent tracking, and financial KPIs such as net operating income.
Qlikview, a leading Business Intelligence product, was selected to power Lincoln's BI tool and a Business Intelligence Analyst was brought on board to become the custom developer of propertyBI for Lincoln Property Company's needs. This product currently only integrates with Lincoln's database of Yardi, but Lincoln is anticipating the ability to bring additional properties onto the tool in the near future.
