Easily Converts Single 4.5V - 24V DC Input Into Three Programmable Output Voltages

The ISL6446A integrates complete control, monitoring and protection functions for two synchronous buck PWM controllers and one linear controller. It allows designers to easily convert 4.5V to 24V DC into as many as three output voltages, with extensive protection. Each output can be controlled independently with adjustable soft-start control. The ISL6446A delivers maximum efficiency over the full operating range of input and output loads. Users can easily design compact DC/DCs with up to 25A current for two channels.
The ISL6446A is designed for ATX power supplies, DSP, ASIC, and FPGA point of load regulation and industrial and security networking applications. It provides a complete set of robust protection features such as thermal shutdown and latch-off mode overcurrent.
Wide 4.5V to 24V input and 0.6V to 20V output operating ranges serve variety of applications
Programmable switching from 100kHz to 2.5MHz enables wide range of component choices to optimize designs
Voltage tracking capability allows precision timing control for multiple DC/DC rails
