Acquisition Deepens Parsons' Portfolio of O&M Services
(firmenpresse) - PASADENA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/08/13 -- Parsons is pleased to announce that it has received all necessary U.S. government approvals and has completed its acquisition of First Support Services, Inc. (and its subsidiaries), a wholly owned subsidiary of FirstGroup. First Support Services is a leading provider of facility operations and maintenance (O&M) services, logistics support, transportation support, and telecommunications operations services to the U.S. government.

"First Support Services has more than a quarter century of experience and will greatly enhance our O&M capabilities."
First Support Services was founded in 1982 with the mission of providing quality and responsive O&M services to federal, state, and local government agencies as well as to private sector businesses. Today, the majority of First Support Services' contracts support the U.S. Department of Defense military services (United States Air Force and United States Navy).
First Support Services is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, employs more than 175 people around the world, and has revenues of more than $50 million per year.
