Quantum Energy Partners Announces Franklin Myers Has Become a Senior Advisor to the Firm
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 03/08/13 -- Quantum Energy Partners (Quantum), a leading provider of private equity to the energy industry, is pleased to announce that Franklin Myers, who formerly held several senior executive positions with Cameron International Corporation and Baker Hughes, Inc., has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor and a member of its Industry Advisory Board. Mr. Myers will work closely with Quantum's senior management team providing counsel on both investment and industry related matters as well as utilizing his network of industry relationships to generate investment opportunities with a focus in the oil service sector.
Mr. Myers served as Senior Advisor to Cameron International Corporation, a publicly traded provider of flow equipment products, from April 2008 through March 2009, prior to which, from 2003 through March 2008, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From 1995 to 2003, he served at various times as Senior Vice President and President of a division within Cooper Cameron Corporation as well as General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining Cooper Cameron Corporation in 1995, Mr. Myers served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Baker Hughes Incorporated, and as attorney and partner at the law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. Mr. Myers serves on the board of directors of ION Geophysical Corporation, a technology-focused seismic solutions company, Comfort Systems USA, Inc., a national heating, ventilation and cooling company, Holly-Frontier Oil Corporation, a national refining and marketing company, and Forum Energy Technologies, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of mission critical, complex, stocked and custom oilfield products and related after-market technical services, for use onshore and offshore.
