Korsair Holdings Announces Access to Innovative Waste to Energy Technology
(firmenpresse) - BERLIN -- (Marketwire) -- 03/07/13 -- (BERLIN: NOM) has signed a sales and marketing license agreement for a Russian waste to energy technology. The agreement guarantees to Korsair exclusivity for the territory of the Balkan States. The license agreement covers all the currently existing devices AIST-200 (200 liters Biofuel/hour), AIST-1000 (1000 liters Biofuel/hour), and AIST-1300 (1300 liters Biofuel/hour) as well as all AIST devices developed in the future.
The Russian development to generate biofuel is known under the name "AIST-Technology" and protected by the patent laws of the Russian Federation. AIST describes a method of multi-stage solid fuel decomposition and oxidation of the device for its implementation and can be used for a wide range of applications in particular to transform waste into biofuel, heat and electricity according to demand. The technology is able to process any carbon-containing waste like household and industrial waste, including rubber products, plastic and plastic, coal and oil sludge to produce the output of various types of synthetic fuels, heat, electricity, technical, and distilled water. The "AIST-Technology" has been developed by Scientists at the Regional Design and Technology Business Incubator at the Polytechnical University of Tomsk and was financed by the Regional Administration of Tomsk, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Polytechnical University of Tomsk.
A demonstration facility has been installed at the Technology Business Incubator at the Polytechnical University of Tomsk. All the waste that is produced in a typical resident and apartment building including the waste water coming out of the sewage system, can be processed on-site with the AIST installation into thermal or electrical energy. The base model, the AIST-200, when transforming three cubic meters of domestic waste per hour, is capable of producing up to 200 liter of high quality synthetic fuel. The technology is able to process almost all kinds of biological waste. The system is designed as a modular system, flexible and mobile (even as a floating system), easy to expand for larger implementation.
The main characteristics when feeding 3 m3 of feedstock into the facility will generate the following products:
The final product is heat only = 3 Gcal per hour.
The final product electricity only = 3488 kW / hour.
The final product is liquid biofuel + electricity = 200 liters of synthetic biofuel (kerosene, gasoline from "80" to "98", Superdiesel "Arctic") + 300 kW / hour.
