Construction Writers Will Celebrate 55th Year Anniversary of Association During Annual Conference 'CONNECTED 2013' This October in Chicago
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 03/06/13 -- Construction writers from across the country will celebrate the 55th anniversary of the (CWA) during the organization's annual conference -- CONNECTED 2013 -- Oct. 21-22, 2013, in Chicago.
This two-day conference, which will include education programs tailored for construction writers, networking opportunities, a presentation of awards at the Grand Awards Dinner, and a construction tour, will be held at Crowne Plaza Avenue Chicago Downtown, 160 E. Huron, just steps from Chicago's "Magnificent Mile."
"We're excited to be back in downtown Chicago for this special anniversary event," said 2013 CWA Annual Conference Chair Tim Gregorski, editor in chief, Professional Remodeler. "The 2013 program will build on the themes and discussions we had at last year's event. Already, the list of speakers is shaping up to be one the best we've had for a CWA Annual Meeting."
The annual conference will feature a construction tour on the afternoon of Monday, Oct. 21, followed by a welcome reception that evening. The annual meeting and education programs will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 22, followed by a networking reception from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the Grand Awards Dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
