MDI Achieve Client Awarded Grant to Establish MatrixCare and Epic Systems Data Exchange
Minnesota Department of Health Awards Grant to Benedictine Health System
(firmenpresse) - EDEN PRAIRIE, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 03/04/13 -- MDI Achieve, provider of MatrixCare, the market-leading, certified Electronic Health Record solution for the continuum of care, announced its client, Benedictine Health System (BHS), has been awarded an e-Health Connectivity Grant from the Minnesota Department of Health. This grant will be used to enable data exchange between BHS Participating Organization's EHR, MatrixCare, and Epic Systems, the EHR of their hospital partner for this grant, Allina Health.
Initially the project will focus on the data exchange of select Continuity of Care Document (CCD) information between Allina and BHS Participating Organization locations. At project completion, any MatrixCare client will be able to exchange select CCD information with any health care provider that has the ability to exchange CCD information, provided that the two entities have established a peer-to-peer connection or are members of the same HIE.
