Vino Volo (derived from "wine flight" in Italian) is redefining travelers' airport experience at 24 locations in 17 airports across North America, where guests can choose from an impressive collection of unique wines -- by the glass, in flights, and by the bottle -- as well as snacks, entrees, and desserts.
Bringing a taste of wine country to the conference, Vino Volo hosted a wine education event, "Taste Like A Master," for 100 VIP attendees. Jay James, Master Sommelier and Vice President, Fine Wine Southern Wine and Spirits, Las Vegas, took guests through a blind tasting of a "Viva Las Vino" flight, featuring Vino Volo's take on the "Big Six" wine varietals: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. One of the highlights was the stories told by winemakers Gus Gamba, Gamba Vineyards and Winery; James Hall, Patz & Hall and Scott Shirley, JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery. They each took guests on a journey to their respective wine countries, capturing the essence of what it takes to make their best-in-class wine.
Setting the industry standard for Customer Service since opening its first location in 2005, Vino Volo has won 25 Airport Revenue News awards including the "Food Operator with the Highest Regard for Customer Service" 7 years in a row (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013).
