Amelia Island's Great Southern Tailgate Cook-Off Partners With Smithfield(R) Rib Super Series for 2013
(firmenpresse) - AMELIA ISLAND, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/21/13 -- The Convention & Visitors Bureau (AICVB) has announced a partnership with Smithfield® Rib Super Series for the 2013 , Aug. 23-24. One of 12 high-profile (KCBS) sanctioned events to participate in the series, the Great Southern Tailgate Cook-off will offer professional teams added incentive for competing in the event.
The Smithfield® Rib Super Series is a points chase competition with bonus money payouts for the top three finalists in the Ribs category, at each contest and overall. All participating teams will also receive two complimentary racks of spareribs to use as their turn-in or for experimentation. Teams participating in the points chase will earn points based on their finishing position at their best four events in the series, making them eligible for additional bonus Grand Prize money.
