With an easy-to-read 12-inch display screen, this mobile handheld system directly communicates to aircrafts without requiring an intermediate server. Ideal for bus troubleshooting, diagnostic systems, data loading, and applications requiring portable handheld solutions, this customized ROCKY DK8 tablet can serve a variety of avionic needs. The DK8 tablet is independently certified for military standards of ruggedness, which minimizes downtimes and lost data due to accidents and breakage.
This closed case solution feeds power, Ethernet data, and 2-channel 1553 data through a 35-pin MIL-DTL-38999 military connector. Compact, small-footprint, single solution devices are an AMREL specialty, so no peripheral devices are necessary.
While AMREL provided the fully rugged platform, DDC supplied the MIL-STD-1553 Mini-PCIe card (BU-67114Hx). DDC is well-known for providing the smallest complete MIL-STD-1553 high-performance solutions in the world.
