Artis Real Estate Investment Trust Announces Monthly Cash Distribution
(firmenpresse) - WINNIPEG, MANITOBA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/13/13 -- Artis Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: AX.UN) ("Artis" or the "REIT") announced that its trustees have declared its regular monthly cash distribution of $0.09 per trust unit ("Unit") of Artis for the month of February, 2013. The cash distributions will be made on March 15, 2013 to Unitholders of record on February 28, 2013.
As at the date hereof, there are an aggregate of 114,986,507 Units issued and outstanding.
Artis is a diversified Canadian real estate investment trust investing in office, industrial and retail properties. Since 2004, Artis has executed an aggressive but disciplined growth strategy, building a portfolio of commercial properties in Canada and the United States, with a major focus on Western Canada. Artis' commercial property comprises nearly 23.5 million square feet of leasable area in 221 properties. Leasable area by asset class is approximately 18.2% retail, 31.9% office and 49.9% industrial. The portfolio is located 7.8% in British Columbia, 25.7% in Alberta, 5.5% in Saskatchewan, 15.3% in Manitoba, 15.9% in Ontario and 29.8% in the U.S.
