"Funds raised through SoBow online registration campaign to be presented February 23, 2013"

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/13/13 -- M2i Development Corporation and Festival Hall are pleased to announce the donation of over $4000 to Festival Hall as the result of M2i's unique online campaign to raise funds for the launch of the new home of the Calgary Folk Festival.

As M2i launched their website for SoBow, a commitment was made to donate $20 for every registration on the new development's website. Beginning in October 2012 and continuing until the Grand Opening of the Sales Centre for the first building in the development on January 12, 2013, a total of $4,140.00 was raised, enabling M2i to achieve the Chanteur/Chanteuse donor level for Festival Hall. The cheque will officially be presented to Festival Hall by Eileen Stan, Development Program Manager at M2i on February 23, 2012 at the Justin Rutledge CD release.

As a product of two of M2i's core mandates, Building Community and Enriching Places and Spaces, this donation serves to support the vibrancy that Festival Hall brings to Inglewood as a key driver in the continuing evolution of the area. The idea for the donation came about as M2i, the residential development division of Matco, launched its first residential project in Inglewood. This development is the first step in the renewal of the long-idle Riverside Quays location adjacent to Pearce Estate Park. Acquired by M2i, this emerging mixed-use neighbourhood, now renamed 'SoBow' for 'South of the Bow', also continues the evolution of Inglewood as Calgary's most interesting and desirable inner-city neighbourhood.

More about M2i: M2i Development Corporation is real estate development company focused on building integrated communities in Calgary's inner city. M2i has a direct impact on fostering healthy, purposeful communities through the projects they build and the programs they support.
