The award was judged by industry peers and honored the best of the surf industry for 2012. The retailer was also named Women's Retailer of the Year in 2010, the year before Hansen Surfboards celebrated its 50th anniversary.
As the only awards program of its kind, the SIMA Image Awards identify the surf industry's most influential companies and recognizes them for their efforts to advance and grow the industry over the past year.
