EPLAX builds extensive power supply system in record time
(PresseBox) - A new power supply solution made by Bremen-based power supply specialist EPLAX now serves as a test block for DC motors. 100 Veropower power supply units specifically developed and manufactured for this purpose were built into a 19-inch, 42 HE control cabinet. This highly flexible system allows for a continuous adjustment of baseline values for each PSU to up to 5A output current or 50V output voltage, either with a potentiometer or remote control. Clearly visible front displays indicate the actual values.
"The greatest challenge besides the high technological requirements was that we had a very short time frame," explains Dr. Hans-Peter Klug, EPLAX Key Account Manager in charge of the project. "We wouldn't have been able to pull this off without our highly professional and sophisticated project management." Klug is not exaggerating: EPLAX had only 12 weeks to develop, manufacture, test, and install the complete system ready for use.
