Reinforcement for WOLFF flat-top cranes – WOLFFKRAN extends its Clear Line in the 250 mt range
Munich – January 2013. The world’s cities are mushrooming; new buildings and high-rise towers are reaching for the skies. For construction work in big cities this usually means demanding technical requirements and very limited space available. The trend in the tower crane market is thus increasingly moving towards flat-top cranes. WOLFFKRAN recognized this development many years ago and now presents a powerful new addition to its Clear Line: the WOLFF 7032clear.
(firmenpresse) - Two versions of the trolley jib crane without tower top are available: the 7032.8clear and the 7032.12clear. The 7032.8clear is designed as a 2-fall crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 8.5 t. The 7032.12clear is being launched on the market as a re-reevable model. Automatic re-reeving between 2- and 4-fall operation is possible. In 2-fall operation loads of up to 8.3 t can be lifted, in 4-fall operation up to 12 t. “With the 7032clear we have extended the existing Clear Line in the 250mt range in response to the needs of modern, inner-city construction sites,” says Dr Peter Schiefer, Managing Partner at WOLFFKRAN.
Compact and economical in use and during transport
Both versions of the 7032clear are notable not only for their performance, but also for their ease of transport and assembly. “The entire Clear Line stands out against the competition due to the uncomplicated and convenient set-up of all structural and control components,” says Gerd Tiedtke, Product Manager at WOLFFKRAN. With the 7032clear the premium manufacturer thus remains loyal to its principle of a clean construction, in favor of simple and effective maintenance and assembly.
Thanks to its slender jib components and collapsible counter-jib the 7032clear is not only simple to erect, it is also compact to transport, saving the customer time and money. The counter-jib fits on a truck in one piece. All components are also suitable for container shipping.
Compatible, well-conceived and powerful
Equally as practical and well-designed: the counterweights. They are all of the same size, which makes the assembly simpler and above all safer. “There is no risk of confusion, as is the case with blocks of different sizes,” says Gerd Tiedtke. “In addition, the counterweights are compatible with other WOLFF cranes.”
In both versions the crane the jib can be extended from 25m to 70m in 2.5m steps. At full jib length the 7032.8clear can still lift a load of 3.2 t, the 7032.12clear a load of 2.9 t.
Both versions are the 7032clear are equipped with a powerful 45kW or 75kW hoisting winch. With the most popular 75kW winch, lifting heights of up to 460m and hoisting speeds of up to 185m/min are possible in 2-fall operation. As for the towers, WOLFFKRAN makes use of proven systems, the WOLFF UV 20 and TV 20.
Quality equipment for a long life-cycle, convenience and safety
Quality and a long life-cycle have always been the hallmarks of the red WOLFF cranes. With galvanized understructures, railings and platforms, WOLFFKRAN lives up to this reputation with its new crane, as with all new WOLFF cranes. The 7032clear is equipped as a standard with the WOLFF Link teleservice module, a working space limiter and the new cabin, standard since 2012. The working space limiter, which prevents collisions and accidents in particular space-restricted construction sites, guarantees the highest level of safety. “In the development of new cranes, safety is out top priority,” emphasizes Dr Peter Schiefer, who is also concerned with the subject in his role as Chairman of the Tower Crane Section of the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE). “With the advanced equipment of our cranes we aim to make construction sites even safer in future,” says Schiefer.
Within the WOLFF product range the 7032clear takes its place in the XL class and complements the sales and rental business in all European core markets, the growth markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
