Los Angeles Labor and Employment Attorney Al Klein Receives Tenth Consecutive 'Super Lawyer' Designation
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/23/13 -- On January 21st, Alfred Klein, a principal of the law corporation Pettker Christian & Pramov, received his tenth consecutive nomination as a "" which is published in Los Angeles Magazine. Since 2004 when the honor was created, has been nominated as a Super Lawyer each year. The "Super Lawyer" recognition rates who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5% of all receive this honor and only 16% of the Top 5%, have received the honor of ten consecutive nominations. Of the nine partners at Rodi Pollock, all have been nominated as Super Lawyers for their respective fields of law.

Attorney Klein is well-known in the Southern California legal professional community and has been quoted in articles published in Business Week and Newsweek. Having practiced Labor and Employment Law for over 40 years, he is one of the most highly-respected attorneys in his field. Over the years, he has published numerous professional articles in legal and business publications, contributing to The American Bar Association's Antitrust and Labor Committee Report, Labor and Employment Law Section (1977/1978), "The Developing Labor Law (second edition, first supplement), and as a contributor (pp. 59-77) for the BNA Special Report, "Alcohol & Drugs in the Workplace: Costs, Controls and Controversies" (1986). In 1987, his technical feature article won second place in the 1987 National Awards Competition, American Society of Business Press Editors. In 1987, he also authored, "A Basic Primer on California Labor Code Section 132a," Vol. 5, No. 4, Labor and Employment Law News, Winter, 1987.
Al Klein is a graduate of the University of Michigan and was a National Science Foundation Scholar. He earned his J.D. at from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and has served as an instructor of Legal Writing at U.C. Hastings College of Law in San Francisco.
Attorney Klein is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar and the California State Bar Associations and serves as a Group Leader for business professionals organization for their Pasadena 3 chapter.
