Ken Forrester took over the farm in Stellenbosch with his family in 1993 and led the yard to its current success. Especially his Chenin Blanc has gained a great reputation amongst wine lovers and critics alike and has caused a stir in the wine world. Besides the excellent Chenin Blanc, Ken Forrester produces further high class wines in three collections. The three different Ranges offer premium wines in each of their categories at always fair prices. The Petit Range stands for wines with an especially fruity character which gourmets can enjoy to almost every occasion as an everyday drinking wine. The Ken Forrester Range also offers high quality in interplay with an exceptional complexity and simultaneously elegance. The winery Ken Forrester is located on the picturesque hills of the Helderberg in the famous wine cultivation region Stellenbosch and spreads over 40 hectares on which noble grapes such as Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage as well as further noble vines grow. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Helderberg together with a fine glass of wine and a spicy piece of cheese in the cosy Tasting Room. In close proximity, there is the restaurant 96 Winery Road that belongs to the brother of Ken Forrester. There, guests can try typical South African dishes together with selected wines from the estate and have all their culinary wishes fulfilled.
