BioNitrogen Receives Confirmation of Its Engineering From KBR and PRM Energy Systems, Inc.
(firmenpresse) - DORAL, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/14/13 -- (PINKSHEETS: BION), a cleantech company that utilizes proprietary technology to build environmentally-friendly plants that convert biomass into urea fertilizer, announced today that Granherne, Inc., a KBR company, and PRM Energy Systems, Inc. ("PRME") have completed the conceptual engineering and initial feasibility study for its first plant in Hardee County, Florida.
has been working with Granherne, Inc. on the design of the plant, which includes the PRME gasification systems. "Granherne's global engineering expertise, procurement resources and U.S. construction capabilities are on track to provide solid engineering development for ," said Dennis Calton, President, KBR Oil & Gas.
For the next phase of FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), the project will be executed out of KBR's Delaware-based operations, which is a KBR center of excellence for Bio Based Chemicals and Fuels.
