Pure Launches Second Generation 'Pure Connect' Apps for iPad, iPhone and Android Devices in North America at CES 2013
Free New App Makes Music Discovery Easy
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 01/07/13 -- Today at CES 2013, announces second generation '' apps for iPad, iPhone and Android devices, which have been designed with content and music discovery at their heart to deliver a truly immersive and engaging user-experience.
The new Pure Connect app gives users access to local music on their smartphone or tablet, thousands of radio stations, on-demand programmes and podcasts, as well as millions of music tracks via the Pure Music subscription service(1). The free apps and new and improved Pure Connect website () have been designed with content at their heart and very simple, easy to use navigation. Music discovery is made easy with a seamless journey from the moment the user logs in thanks to the new 'discovery' section, which includes smart recommendations based on the user's history.
Control for Pure's new Jongo multiroom music system (announced today at CES) is built into the DNA of the free Pure Connect apps. The Pure Jongo system is the world's first family of affordable multiroom audio products and allows the user to start with a single speaker and add more Jongo products for perfectly synchronized audio all around their home.
All content is kept synced in the cloud and users can access their content intuitively from all devices wherever and whenever they want including PCs, Macs, iOS and Android devices, or any Pure Music streaming product that is linked to Pure Connect.
Pure Connect features content from (2) new initiative, , which allows content creators such as musicians, authors, comedians and more to connect more closely with their fans by sharing all aspects of their creative process through the social spoken word.

The new, second generation Pure Connect apps will be available in North America in the first quarter of 2013.
