The all-suite and villa luxury earned praise from national and Hawai'i-based publications for its recent renovations, impeccable service, complimentary guest offerings, full-service spa and newly renovated signature restaurant. In appreciation of the continuous support of its guests, the resort has announced a Fifth Night Free promotion. The special offer will allow travelers who stay five nights to receive their fifth night free and will be available on all one-bedroom suites and two- and three-bedroom villas throughout 2013 (blackout dates may apply).
After three years and over $28 million in renovations, 2012 guests at The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui hotel enjoyed enhanced public areas and landscaping, along with updated suites, villas and pool decks. These improvements, coupled with Fairmont's unrivaled service, resulted in high marks from Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure readers. While resort-wide improvements contributed to the enhanced vacation experience, guest offerings were also praised. Spa Kea Lani, the hotel's full-service boutique spa, was voted among the Top Resort Spas in Hawai'i by readers of Condé Nast Traveler. Spafinder.com also deemed the as one of the Best Beach Spas in the state. The 5,500-square-foot spa added two outdoor cabanas in 2012. K?, translates to "sugarcane" in Hawaiian and showcases the culinary history of the island's sugarcane plantation era and includes Hawaiian, Chinese, Filipino, Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese favorites. The unique culinary concept earned four Aipono Awards by Maui No Ka Oi Magazine readers, including Best Menu for a Small Planet. Executive Chef Tylun Pang was also presented with the coveted 2012 Friend of Agriculture award by the Maui County Farm Bureau for the restaurant's menu, which includes over 85% locally sourced ingredients.
