Danbel Ventures Re-Files Its Second and Third Quarter Financial Statements
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/21/12 -- Danbel Ventures Inc. ("Danbel" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the board of directors have appointed Mr. Barry Polisuk as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective December 10, 2012. Mr. Polisuk has been a member of the board of directors of the Company since September 15, 2010. Mr. Polisuk is a senior partner at the law firm of Garfinkle, Biderman LLP and has served as an officer and director of a number of other Canadian public companies.
Mr. Les Bresge has resigned as Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective December 10, 2012, but will remain as a member of the board of directors. We would like to thank Mr. Bresge for his dedication and effort over the years in his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Danbel also announced that it has re-filed its interim unaudited consolidated financial statements for the six month period ended June 30, 2012 and its interim unaudited consolidated financial statements for the nine month period ended September 30, 2012 to reflect a change in each of the statements on page 6 - Amended Unaudited Interim Consolidated Statements of Changes in Equity in which a line was added showing the comparative equity for June 30, 2011 in the June 30, 2012 interim statements and September 30, 2011 in the September 30, 2012 interim statements. There were no material changes in the financial numbers.
Danbel continues to seek opportunities to acquire an operating business or complete a transaction and, if so, Danbel intends to make an application to list its shares on a stock exchange. There is no assurance that the Company will be successful in these endeavours.
