Manhattan Caterer Brings Christmas to Staten Island
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/21/12 -- "The Christmas season of 2012 has turned out to be one of tremendous loss and unfathomable tragedy for many. Since being here providing meals, from when super storm Sandy first hit, we have witnessed the devastation and suffering many residents are enduring. We want to provide some warmth and hospitality to those in need on Staten Island this Christmas. We are looking forward to joining with the community of the displaced residents and celebrating Christmas," said Philip Misseri of Cambridge Catering.
The Manhattan-based catering company will be opening its kitchen and its heart. Cambridge catering employees will be coming in on Christmas Eve and on Christmas day to cook, prepare and deliver all the food for the residents to enjoy.
Terry, a resident of Midland Beach Staten Island is particularly looking forward to this opportunity to reconnect with the community. "Since the storm, we have all been in survival mode and this will be the first time where we will have a chance to unwind and share our stories."
Cambridge Catering on Christmas Eve from 3pm to 8pm will be hosting a free hot buffet with salads, desserts and beverages. On Christmas Day from 10am to 2pm we will be serving hot breakfast sandwiches, bagels and spreads, fruit, coffee and juice.
This will all take place at The Fisher Building located at 470 Midland Avenue Staten Island, NY. We would like to thank The Fisher Family for allowing us the use of their space for this event. We would also like to express our gratitude to Broadway Party Rentals for donating the use of their tables, linens and chairs.
We were told by Santa that he will drop in to distribute presents to the children.
