TWIMO: New Generation of Intelligent RF Modules
(PresseBox) - Texim Europe provides the TWIMO RF modules from Adeunis RF. These modules offer a wide variety of services, all of which can be customised. Form factor compliance, a single footprint, dimensions 32 x 16 x 3mm, identical I/Os, microcontroller with an embedded ARM Cortex-M3 core, accessible API libraries, modules from the TWIMO range ensure optimum radio implementation.
Modules from the TWIMO range are able to operate using several transmission modes, in particular TDMA mode (or synchronous mode): this time-slicing mode can be used to transmit several signals on a single frequency.
TWIMO modules come in two versions: the 'ready-to-use' version and the 'programmable' version. The 'ready-to-use' version embeds a configurable radio gateway that can be used immediately. The 'programmable' version allows customers to integrate their applications into the TWIMO module using memory space that is available. It becomes possible therefore to develop applications within the module and to call on the API library (radio functions) to send or receive data, without any radio expertise being required. The TWIMO modules have been officially registered as conforming to the 2010 issue of the RTTE EN300-220 radio standard.
TWIMO RF Module Starterkit
The TWIMO RF Starter Kit is designed to help the user to achieve his objectives as quickly as possible. The new generation of Adeunis RF starter kit consists on the addition of an Adeunis extension board (embedding a RF module) and a Raisonance Open4 platform.
