(firmenpresse) - MARKHAM, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/20/12 -- LOREX Technology Inc. (TSX VENTURE: LOX) ("LOREX") is pleased to announce that FLIR Systems, Inc. has concluded the acquisition (the "Transaction") of LOREX and has acquired all of the outstanding common shares of LOREX (the "Common Shares") for cash consideration of CAD $1.30 per Common Share. As a result of the completion of the Transaction, the Common Shares of LOREX will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange.
For shareholders who held their Common Shares through a broker, the payment of the consideration will be processed through their broker. For shareholders who held their Common Shares in registered form, the payment of the consideration will be processed after they deposit their share certificates with Equity Financial Trust Company, the depositary for the Transaction, in accordance with the instructions in the Letter of Transmittal mailed to shareholders.
