Butchershop Creative and Filmmaker Robbie Stauder Launch New Website: Inside The Whale -- Short Films That Celebrate Passionate Individuals and the Beauty of Possibility
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/18/12 -- Inside The Whale () is a collaboration film project between San Francisco creative house, Butchershop Creative () and New York filmmaker Robbie Stauder (). As the first of many chapters to come, Inside The Whale is proud to announce the release of Chapter One, The True Originals, a 12 part series celebrating individuals in pursuit of their dreams.
Months of research and a 6000 mile journey across the Northwest culminated in 12 distinct stories ranging from a conversation with the world's oldest man to a couple's quest for something wild in their search for the elusive Bigfoot. Butchershop's Creative Director, Trevor Hubbard says, "We try to find stories no matter how small the dream, the person's dedication and love is undeniably intoxicating, and therefore, tremendously inspiring."
Inside The Whale's website will host chapters and episodes, building a community of supporters. The project allows brands to collaborate by supporting a Chapter that represents their personality. Hubbard says, "It's important for brands to have guts to associate themselves with wonderfully different content these days. Brands need to be like people; what they act like, what they support and who they hang out with all say a tremendous amount about them." The True Originals, The first chapter of Inside The Whale is supported by Black Star Beer (). Robbie Stauder, project Director finishes, "Black Star Beer is one of those brands that truly understands the importance of associating itself with great stories and people."
Inside The Whale will release one episode of True Originals every other week. This week's episode -- The Haunted House -- captures a woman looking after her favorite place: a haunted hotel. Previously released episodes include "Last Cowboy," a story about a father that uses the values learned as a working cowboy to raise and provide for his family and "Respect Your Elders," about a woman who recycles discarded 1500 year old redwood stumps off the forest floors.
