Minister MacKay Announces a $2.8 Million Project for 14 Wing Greenwood
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/12 -- The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence, today announced a funding commitment of approximately $2.8 million towards the replacement of the intrusion alarms and monitoring system at 14 Wing Greenwood.

The contract for this project was awarded earlier this fall to Reliance Protectron Incorporated for $1.6 million. The project includes the replacement of intrusion alarms and the monitoring system for 14 Wing in order to meet national standards. The overall value of the project, which includes this contract, is set at approximately $2.8 million and is expected to be completed in April 2013.

The Government of Canada conducted open, fair, and transparent competition processes to award contracts for these projects.
