Key Leaders From Blue Ridge Foundation New York, Forrester Research, Modern Meadow and the Robin Hood Foundation Join Roster

(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/12/12 -- , a new kind of technology accelerator devoted to New York City's nonprofit community -- established by , in collaboration with its IT subsidiary, -- announced today the addition of four new members to its "blue ribbon" Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is comprised of technology investors and leaders from the nonprofit sector, government and the philanthropic community.

The new members join representatives from the New York Angels, Google, Columbia University, the Center for an Urban Future and the Foundation Center, among others. Center4's newest Advisory Board members are:

Center4 is scheduled to open in early 2013 in New York City. Through an accelerator, hackathons, symposia and educational programming, Center4 will articulate the nonprofit sector's needs to technologists and social entrepreneurs, and facilitate partnerships and ventures that accelerate access to and utilization of technology solutions. Center4 is named for the emerging "Fourth Sector" -- which leverages the convergence of the private, public and nonprofit sectors to benefit the social good. With its focus on technology serving health and human service nonprofits, Center4 is highly unique among the current wave of accelerators and incubators.
