JukinVideo Celebrates First Birthday With Holiday Bash
The Groundbreaking Digital Media Licensing Platform Turns One Year Old
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/11/12 -- Celebrating its one-year anniversary in style, JukinVideo, the first-ever viral video licensing platform, is throwing a party in Hollywood on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012.
The party, billed as a celebration of digital media, will take place at the brand-new Aventine Bar & Eatery, a roman-inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Hollywood. Not scheduled to open to the public until January, Aventine will open its doors early for the exclusive JukinVideo event.
In its first year, JukinVideo established itself by offering a streamlined process for digital video creators to get paid for licensing their video content to media companies. Essentially, JukinVideo operates at the intersection between digital and traditional media.
It's fitting then that the guest list for JukinVideo's holiday party is comprised of a diverse mix of digital content creators, television producers, celebrities, YouTube personalities, and members of LA's digital community.
While the party will present a great opportunity for professionals from these converging industries to network and interact, JukinVideo's founder insists that it will not be a run-of-the-mill networking event.
"It's a chance for many of our clients, video creators and industry members alike, to meet and have fun," said Jonathan Skogmo, co-founder of JukinVideo.
Friday's party boasts Svedka as its official vodka sponsor, and is a follow-up to last year's holiday party, which celebrated the launch of the platform.
JukinVideo was launched on the belief that video creators need a platform designed specifically to share and sell their content. Everyday TV shows, commercials, films, news broadcasts, and other media outlets use viral-style video clips for their programming needs. JukinVideo's aim is to help video creators get paid to have their videos shown on these media.
