New, Online Fine Arts Company Provides Employment for Artists Coping With Mental and Physical Challenges Such as High Functioning Autism and Stress Disorders

(firmenpresse) - SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/11/12 -- ,™ an online fine arts company based in the Silicon Valley is seeking to bridge the work of exceptional, challenged artists and sculptors with collectors worldwide. Renewing the Renaissance™ (RTR) is the brainchild of art enthusiast/entrepreneur Phil Shemanski, and is dedicated to providing steady employment and support for challenged adults.

"I was inspired to create Renewing the Renaissance when my autistic daughter graduated from high school," said Shemanski. "RTR was started as a way to develop and illustrate an effective business model focused on challenged adults' individual strengths and to provide management and mentorship around their weaknesses. Now, these artists are no longer defined or held back by their conditions."

RTR patrons can purchase an already completed sculpture or painting from the website gallery, commission a custom piece of art from one of RTR's artists, or companies can create award sculptures through one of a kind company programs. In addition to the original artwork, RTR has developed the Creation Chronicle™, a video digest following the artist's creative process -- which will be provided to each patron with the completed work of art.

The company is also launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of three life size bronze sculptures, which will be donated to one of two Bay Area parks -- Mitchell Park's proposed Magical Bridge Playground in Palo Alto, or Guadalupe Park's Rotary Play Garden in San Jose. Both are focused on providing an all-inclusive park and playground environment, and inclusion for those with autism and physical challenges and are scheduled for completion in 2014. Go to and type in inspirational sculptures.
