Con-way Truckload Outscores the Competition to Earn Third Consecutive Carrier of the Year Award From Sonoco

(NYSE: CNW), today announced it has been named Carrier of the Year by Sonoco (NYSE: SON) for the third consecutive year. This is the fourth time Con-way Truckload has earned a carrier award from Sonoco since it began working with the company in 2008. Each year, Sonoco honors carriers across three award categories: Prospector, Helping Hand and Customer Service Representative. The core carrier that most excels in all three categories, as voted on by members of Sonoco's entire logistics department, is named Carrier of the Year. To earn the distinction, Con-way Truckload uncovered and developed growth opportunities, worked with Sonoco to help solve immediate needs, and demonstrated service excellence through on-time delivery, communication and offering service options.
