As Part of Marriott's Spirit to Serve Program, Marriott Executive Apartments Help Clean Local Beach
(firmenpresse) - MANAMA, BAHRAIN -- (Marketwire) -- 12/10/12 -- Marriott Executive Apartments Manama Bahrain, which provides , and Al Gosaibi Travel got together this week to help the community and dedicate one day to clean the beach in Qal'at Abu Mahir fortress, Muharraq. The event is part of Marriott's corporate core values "Spirit to Serve Our Communities" incorporated with the celebration of Marriott Global Customer Appreciation Week 2012, which is currently being celebrated by more than 3,700 Marriott properties around the world. Business leaders from all Marriott brands have pledged to help others and give back to their communities in order to create a better place to work, play and live.
This year, Marriott Executive Apartments Manama Bahrain, along with their partner Al Gosaibi Travel, supported the Capital of Arab Culture by cleaning up one of its historic , Qal'at Abu Mahir fortress, Muharraq, as a sign of Marriott's contribution towards preserving the heritage of Bahrain. Qal'at Abu Mahir is testimony to the pearling tradition of an island economy, as declared by the UNESCO World Heritage.
