HOPE NOW to Host Free Event for Homeowners in New York Affected by Super Storm Sandy
Major Mortgage Servicers, Non-Profit Counselors, Insurance Companies and Others to Offer Face-to-Face Assistance to Struggling Homeowners in New York
(firmenpresse) - WESTBURY, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/10/12 -- The HOPE NOW Alliance and several local partners are bringing the nation's largest mortgage servicers, along with several non-profit housing counseling organizations, insurance companies and others to Long Island to work face to face with homeowners affected by Super Storm Sandy.
The event is co-sponsored by New York State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman, NeighborWorks® America, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Long Island Housing Partnership and CDC Long Island.
This event will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 10:00am until 7:00pm, at Joseph M. Barry Career and Technical Education Center, 1196 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, NY 11590.
Homeowners will be seen on a first come, first-served basis and are encouraged to bring all mortgage documents, income documents and insurance documents. For complete information, the event flyer can be found at .
Companies and organizations scheduled to be in attendance include Bank of America, Chase, Citi Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage, Homeward Residential (formerly American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc.), HSBC, Nationstar, Ocwen, OneWest, PNC, Select Portfolio Servicing, Seterus, SunTrust, US Bank and Wells Fargo, American Debt Resources, Community Development Corp of Long Island, Long Island Housing Partnership, Long Island Housing Services, Nassau County Office of Housing and Community Development, Assurant, USAA, New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association, Travelers, Allstate, Hartford, Nationwide, New York Central Mutual and Liberty Mutual.
