Canadian International Trade Tribunal Issues Order: Bicycles from Chinese Taipei and China
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/07/12 -- The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today issued an order following the expiry review of its order made on December 10, 2007, in Expiry Review No. RR-2006-001, concerning the dumping of certain bicycles from Chinese Taipei and China.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal continued its order in respect of the aforementioned goods.
The Tribunal is an independent quasi-judicial body that reports to Parliament through the Minister of Finance. It hears cases on dumped and subsidized imports, safeguard complaints, complaints about federal government procurement and appeals of customs and excise tax rulings. When requested by the federal government, the Tribunal also provides advice on other economic, trade and tariff matters.
