INFORUM Hosts Chef Joanne Weir, Hot Out of the Oven

Weir is the owner of Copita Tequileria y Comida in Sausalito, an award-winning cookbook author and the host of the show, "Joanne Weir's Cooking Confidence." She'll be dishing on her latest cookbook, Joanne Weir's Cooking Confidence: Dinner Made Simple, and the art of creating exciting, nourishing and accessible meals in your own kitchen.
Weir has cooked with Alice Waters, studied under Madeleine Kamman in France and won a James Beard Award, but her heart is in home cooking. Come glean tips from her food theory and technique as she unpacks dinner made simple.
While learning from the master of all things home-made, guests will have the chance to snack on three of Weir's signature dishes and wash them down with her award-winning chardonnay. Joanne Weir Chardonnay won a gold medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition this year.
Gary Danko is chef and principal at Restaurant Gary Danko, a James Beard Award Winner for "Best Chef-California, 1995" and "Best New Restaurant, 2000."
