Liquor Depot's "The Experience" Charity Event Raises Over $1 Million!
(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/03/12 -- Liquor Stores N.A. Ltd (the "Company") (TSX: LIQ), North America's largest publicly-traded liquor retailer is proud to announce that its annual charity fundraiser evening, "The Experience", raised over $1 million for Alberta-based non-profit organizations. The recipients of this year's proceeds were the University Hospital Foundation and the Edmonton Opera.
"Our team exceeded all expectations at The Experience on November 1", noted Interim Chief Executive Officer Jim Dinning. "Since its inception in 2007, the event has raised in excess of $3.5 million for charitable and non-profit causes."
The Experience- Wine, Spirits & Beer Charity Auction is an annual event and is well-recognized as one of Edmonton's premier charity events.
The next Experience will take place in November 2013.
